Scholarships

UAW Local 578 Scholarship Program: 

We are excited to support the educational dreams of our children!  If your child is a high school senior and will be pursuing a degree in higher education, they can apply for financial aid through the UAW Local 578 Scholarship Program.

UAW Local 578 provides one scholarship of $500.

The Oshkosh Area Community Foundation (OAFC) administers the scholarship program.  The OACF and an independent team reviews the applications.  

The application period opens in the fall and closes in February.

Veterans and Women's Commitee Scholarships:

Three scholarships are available: one for $500, and two for $250 each.  Information and applications will be available in the Spring of each year and usually closes around June 1.  Applications will be available at the union hall, on the website and Facebook, and with Veterans and Women's Commitee members.
